Day Fifty Nine

February 28, 2010

No, it is definitely not Spring yet, but I saw this tree outside of Bed Bath and Beyond and I immediately felt that Spring was right around the corner.  Of course there is still tons of snow on the ground, but I know warmer days are not too far away.

Day Fifty Eight

February 27, 2010

Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of a random object?  I went all day without finding anything that I wanted to photograph.  I actually broke into Alexander’s Valentine’s Day candy stash and created this flower out of M&M mini’s just so I could have something to take a picture of today.  I think it turned out pretty cute, don’t you?

Day Fifty Seven

February 26, 2010

With tax season upon us, Adam works later hours to accommodate all of the Tax Preparers computer needs.  He has been coming home when it is time for Alexander to go to bed and tonight I snapped a picture while Alexander was saying “Hello” and “Goodnight” to daddy.

Day Fifty Six

February 25, 2010

Another photo of me, can you believe it?  My eyes are my favorite feature and I love getting them to look all sparkly and pretty.  Self portraits are becoming something I look forward to now and hopefully I can keep it up throughout the rest of the year – but don’t expect to see my face in all of them!  LOL

Day Fifty Five

February 24, 2010

So I am checking my email and I turn around to find Alexander standing next to me with his shirt pulled up over his head.  My first thought was that he looked like a little nun.  He just figured out a new way to pull his shirt off and found this look to be hilarious.  I had to bribe him with a lollipop to get him to put the shirt back so I could get a picture of him like that, but he no longer thought it was funny.

Day Fifty Four

February 23, 2010

So, I am finding it increasingly harder to find interesting photo op’s happening outside of any window I happen to be behind.  So I have started carrying my camera with me on Tuesday’s so I can be on the look out for something to post.  Heading back to the office after lunch today, I decided to go a different way and saw this old train car sitting on the other side of our building.  Trains don’t run on the old tracks that run through the office park, so I have no idea where it came from or how long it had been sitting there, but it made for a perfect shot for today.

Day Fifty Three

February 22, 2010

I have started a list of things I think would look more interesting up close and this week the spot light is on the peanut shell.   I shared this photo with some friends and it amused me that a lot of them came up with other thoughts on what the picture was.  Some thoughts included a snickerdoodle cookie, a waffle and a cinnamon bun.  I love that great detail of an item can stump so many people.

Day Fifty Two

February 21, 2010

There is a creek up the street from my house and I have been dying for the snow to melt off the side walk so I could get a chance to get a picture.  Well as you can see, the snow has not melted yet, but I was able to see it from the side of the road.  Can’t wait to see how it looks when everything is in bloom.

Day Fifty One

February 20, 2010

In case anyone has ever wondered just how bad my vision is – this is what I would see while driving at night without my glasses or contacts.  Permanent bokeh!  LOL  No worries, I was wearing my contacts while driving, however as you can tell I did snap the picture right as the traffic light turned green.

Day Fifty

February 19, 2010

This is what I get when I ask Alexander to not only sit on my lap for a picture but also for a kiss.  He was not having it at all.  Even bribes didn’t work today.  LOL
