Day One Hundred and Sixty Nine

June 18, 2010

Our last day at the beach.  We were getting ready to go and I got everyone together for a family picture.  I will be glad to get home to hopefully escape the heat wave we experienced here at the ocean.  We had a great week and I look forward to going back next summer.

Day One Hundred and Sixty Two

June 11, 2010

We are almost all packed and ready to head out to the beach tomorrow morning.  It never fails to amaze me just how much stuff we need to pack.  I always feel like if I don’t pack it it will end up being the one item we need.  Thankfully the house we are staying at has a washer and dryer so we aren’t taking everything in the closet with us.  We try to pack all of our clothes in one suitcase since we have so many other bags to take (2 laptop bags, a camera bag and a diaper bag) plus toys and extra pillows.  Our car will be packed to the brim.

Day One Hundred and Fifty Five

June 4, 2010

While out picking up some balloons for a photoshoot tomorrow, Alexander asked if he could have a Mickey Mouse balloon.  Who am I to say no?  He was so excited to have an enormous balloon of Mickey that he didn’t mind sitting for a picture.

Day One Hundred and Forty Eight

May 28, 2010

Adam was trying to show Alexander how to blow the puffs off of a dandelion and it was too cute to not take a picture.  It is a lot of fun to watch Adam and Alexander spend time together and share a bond that only a father and son can.

Day One Hundred and Forty One

May 21, 2010

I was asked to get some pictures of my nephew for his Prom and I snapped this picture while Gloria was holding Alexander.  She was emotional seeing her oldest grandson going off to his first prom and thinking it won’t be long before Alexander will be getting ready for his own prom.

Day One Hundred and Thirty Four

May 14, 2010

Alexander likes to play a game he created called “Happy, Sad”.  He makes a happy face and say “Happy” then quickly make a sad face and say “Sad”.  He likes us to play too and it couldn’t have been more perfect to have Alexander showing me “Happy” while Adam was showing me “Sad”.

Day One Hundred and Twenty Seven

May 7, 2010

My mom was kind enough to babysit for us tonight so we could go see Iron Man 2 in the theater.  She kept Alexander busy with movies and coloring books and stickers.  He wasn’t too interested in leaving when I came to pick him up.  I was able to capture this sweet moment between “Gigi” and Alexander when he was saying goodnight.

Day One Hundred and Twenty

April 30, 2010

I almost forgot about getting a picture today!  I remembered while in the car to pick up Alexander from Adam’s moms house.  She watched him so we could go out to dinner.  Adam wasn’t too happy that I wanted to take his picture while he was driving and refused to smile.  Smiling or not, I still like the picture.
