Day One Hundred and Seventy Three

June 22, 2010

A crazy storm rolled in and like the rule police I am, I had to go outside and get into my car so I could get my picture for the day “out the window”.  I know my neighbors who were all outside taking cell phone pics must have thought I was crazy.  The picture doesn’t do the sky justice.  The colors of the clouds from the impending storm and the sun were so intense.  It started raining shortly after I got back inside and only lasted for a few minutes.

Day One Hundred and Sixty Six

At the end of the street we are staying on was a cul-de-sac with some water and I was determined to get a great shot of the sun setting behind the palm trees.  The sky wasn’t clear enough for a fabulous shot and it was just too muggy and hazy to get anything spectacular, but I love the way the clouds were swirled around the sun as it was setting.

Day One Hundred and Fifty Nine

June 8, 2010

I don’t know why I felt the need to take a picture of a traffic light, but I thought it looked cool against the blue sky.  I also never realized before just how large the are.  Glad this one is on a pole and not swinging in the breeze over my car!

Day One Hundred and Fifty Two

June 1, 2010

Some very dark clouds were rolling in on my way home from work and I tried to get a couple pictures of them.  They didn’t come out that great, but believe me, it was one hell of a storm when the clouds settled in.

Day One Hundred and Forty Five

May 25, 2010

At work today we had a new diesel tank installed and it was interesting to watch the technician move the tank from the truck to the ground.  He wore a belt that had the controls on it and it was like playing a real life video game.  Up, down, left, right, repeat.

Day One Hundred and Thirty Eight

May 18, 2010

My co-worker Natalie brings her dog to the office and she is too cute.  Her name is Alice and she is an Italian Mastiff.  She is only 6 months old and already enormous!  I spied her out the window and she was more interested in what I was doing than doing her business.

Day One Hundred and Thirty One

May 11, 2010

Today wasn’t meant to end up as a macro shot, but the raindrops on my windshield looked cool reflecting the front door of work within each drop.  They drops themselves almost look like mini fisheye photos.  Love it!

Day One Hundred and Twenty Four

May 4, 2010

Don’t ask why, but I thought it was so cool to see one of the trucks that paints lines on the roads.  I have never seen one before and had to get a picture.  Thankfully we were stopped at a light so I was able to get a picture.  Sadly, I didn’t get to see the truck actually paint the lines, but it was still neat to see the truck.
