Day One Hundred and Seventy Five

June 24, 2010

Just enjoying one of my favorite hobbies – reading.  Adam got me a Nook for Christmas and I love being able to have all my favorite books with me no matter where I am.  And of course, I have it outfitted with a Kate Spade cover.  Fashion meets function.

Day One Hundred and Seventy Four

I wanted to get a picture of Alexander wearing this shirt on Sunday for Father’s Day, but since I was feeling so sick, I didn’t get to.  I had this shirt made from Makmay Designs on etsy.  She was easy to work with and custom made this shirt for me.  Adam loved the shirt and the picture of Alexander wearing it.

Day One Hundred and Seventy Three

June 22, 2010

A crazy storm rolled in and like the rule police I am, I had to go outside and get into my car so I could get my picture for the day “out the window”.  I know my neighbors who were all outside taking cell phone pics must have thought I was crazy.  The picture doesn’t do the sky justice.  The colors of the clouds from the impending storm and the sun were so intense.  It started raining shortly after I got back inside and only lasted for a few minutes.

Day One Hundred and Seventy Two

Still feeling very much under the weather (having the flu is so stinking miserable), I was lacking creativity today looking for an object to shoot up close.  I ended up grabbing Alexander’s toothbrush and snapped a few pics before calling it a night.  I was just happy that I even remembered to take a picture.

Day One Hundred and Seventy One

After I found out I was pregnant with Alexander 3 years ago, Adam got a tree sapling to plant in the front yard.  It pretty much resembled a stick with some roots.  Today, it is has flourished into a somewhat decent looking young tree.  A few of the branches have some damage from all of the snow we got this winter, but I think this tree will be very nice when it is full grown.

Day One Hundred and Seventy

June 19, 2010

Welcome home from the beach!  Both Adam and I have the flu (although the minute clinic told us we had mono, yeah right) and we feel miserable.  Thankfully Bill and Gloria offered to take Alexander for the night so we could rest and try to get some sleep.
